the US govt. spends 45% of it's GDP annually. A large portion of that is subsidized or financed through the federal reserve lending money it does not have. There are years of inflation kept at bay by artificially adjusted interest rates, and more printed money. So far the only solution is to print more money and subsidize major corporations above and beyond what is already done.
nearly got into a major accident this morning on the road... a bike got flipped a car or two a way from me (which meant the cars in front of me slammed on the breaks) and the guy didn't have a helmet... but he was ok. just walked it off. still freaked me out though.
