Hi, still waiting for the code... looks like you handled some other giveaways that ended yesterday, hence I'm asking :)

Thanks for reaching out.
When I gift a game I do a number of checks including an sgtools check for previous multiple wins or unactivated wins.
This batch of gifts I had three winners where sgtools flagged something, you being one of those winners. Up until recently, support was taking about 4 days to clear my winners. The previous support ticket I sent in though, took 7 days to resolve. So I will wait until support clears you before handing out the key.
If we are unlucky enough to have support take more than 7 days I think you will have to tick "not received" until I can finally send you the key. Hopefully support will be quicker than my last experience though.

I understand. Checked sgtools myself since I had no idea what that could possibly be, and I can't particularly remember that giveaway win. Can't really tell you what happened there, can only guess that the giveaway was labeled wrong, since I have a Super Monday Night Combat in my library instead of the one I should've won there. Guess I was careless back then or didn't notice the difference.

I also check the winner's steam account and did notice that one. I have seen that arise with other winners. If you can check on your licence in your account for the activation date of the game "Super Monday Night Combat" and it seems that it was activated around the same time, then perhaps reach out to the giver of that game - see if they would delete the giveaway. There is someway of checking your won key to definitively identify which game it belongs to ... maybe check how to do that. If the giver did make a mistake, then hopefully that can be addressed.
If you want to explore those options I can delete my support ticket and wait to see how that works out for you.
If support action this current ticket I have open for you - the result might be a suspension if no one else has previously queried this particular unactivated win. A suspension usually only lasts for about 3 days, but you lose the win and I will reroll. So let me know quick if you want me to retract the support ticket and wait for you to take action.

Yeah, I opened a support ticket myself already. SG didn't list the key for that particular win, so I looked it up in my Steam history already, and it's listed as Gift/Guest Pass, redeemed on the day of the win back then (29 Jun, 2019). Can show you the screenshot as well if you want to see it, but I guess I'll just have to wait until Support gets back to me anyway.

No rush from my end. Have closed the ticket, happy to wait and see what happens on your end. Good luck and let me know :)

Might be worth noting - Super Monday Night Combat seems to not be one of the giftable games on Steamgifts. The giver may have decided to get around this by choosing the incorrect, but similar named "Monday Night Combat" game. Even though you have contacted support, I would try to engage the giver of the game - get him to delete the giveaway. If he does, your problem with me goes away. If he does not, then you are no worse off. Good luck.

He said he'll try deleting... but that was a day ago already. I fear he has to go through support as well, so we're waiting anyway :D

That's okay, happy to wait a bit more. You should add a comment to your support ticket - I did an sgtools check on the other three winners of the game giveaway. All of them show an unactivated win of Monday Night Combat. I bet that if you check their steam account they will all show they have Super Monday Night Combat instead. Support only have a few users doing the job, compared to over 1 million steamgifts users, so it takes time for the tickets to be looked at.

As you can see, I released the key. I believe that you and the other three winners of the old giveaway did receive an incorrect game. I can see that an sgtools check on all four winners flag the given game as not being activated. Even if the giver of that givaway is willing to have it deleted I am not sure how support work on that. If it requires all winners to also agree, then there might be a holdup (or it may not happen). Either way - in this particular case, I am happy to release the game to you. Good luck with your support ticket. One final thought - ask support if the infringement has already been served. If it has, then anyone in future who asks for a reroll on this basis will be denied and you will get that future win. Just might take some days :)

Thank you, already used the key and marked it as received. I'm guessing the giveaway owner had to go through support to delete after all this time as well, and I haven't received any updates on my ticket yet. I will see that I deal with this, now that I know about it :D

Thanks for the quick response in marking received. You have nothing to lose by continuing with your support ticket, and as I mentioned earlier, might be handy to know if you have already served a penalty for the unactivated game. If you have, then the next giver who tries to reroll will find it overturned and you will get the win (just takes days of waiting though). Good luck.
