I prefer Fall and Spring (mild weather, please!) but if I have to choose between the two you've mentioned, I'd go with Winter.

Here's why: When it's cold you can bundle up, and you'll be warm, but when it's HOT, it doesn't matter how many clothes you take off, you'll STILL be overheated... Not to mention sticky and stinky from sweating. No thank you!

Winter, no bugs, easier to get warm than get cool, and snow activities are fun.

My area is the terrain of the classic RPG's last boss.
It is extremely cold in winter and extremely hot in summer.
Extreme heat is affected by abnormal humidity even in extreme heat.
Play in the winter, whether skiing or snowboarding.

Me? I used to ski, but I can slide down from the top of the mountain.
However, if you think about it, you haven't done it for about 15 years.

In summer, it's ungodly humid. Like, don't even go outside, ever.

In winter, my knuckles start chapping, which is a huge pain to deal with.

You'd think that fall would be a nice compromise, but... fall is hurricane season.

And to round things out, spring is just the prologue to summer.

Winter without a doubt. Spring and autumn are pretty much on a tie for me, and summer is dead last.

By the way, how do you respond to the southern hemisphere? While in the northern hemisphere - summer, in the southern - winter. At the equator, it’s generally hot all year.
