As far as I know, it has no effect on it.
You do level up and get to take part in higher level giveaways.
But yeah, I wouldn't recommend getting games to giveaway just to get something out of it.
You'll not get much, besides the knowledge you might have made someone else's day! :)

i though as much, the giveaways i do give are from games i get cuz side effects and i never intended on get games for the sake of giveaways anyway~~
