way to early is the way to go.
you can always play some video games on your hand held consoles or on your phone if you get bored you can always find something somewhat fun to do if you try.

I usually try my best to be early... But I always end up being a little late :(

Way to early. Prefer to be somewhere 10-15 minutes before planned time, but it isn't possible every single time. Like during my Tuesday trip I was 30 minutes late to meet clients (some works on roads and I had to go another longer road) so even waking up 1 hour early wasn't enough this time (first I had to meet my collegue there, so it wasn't problem as he meet with them in planned time). :)

Normally early but if I'm just meeting a friend then a little bit late because they will probably be late anyway :P

Little to late. But this depends for what. To meet someone, then to late(as this mean the other appeared) and to early if I want to catch a train/bus/whatever don't wait for me. :D

It depends on the occasion. Sometimes it can be considered an offense, if you are way too early. In htese cases i'd rather be a little too late.
In germany/Austria they call this the "academic quarter of an hour"
So, while being much too early can have it's advantages (pretty much for simply NOT being too late of course),
but i would still not show up earlier than 5 mins before the apponted time.
