Description

I'm an attorney specializing in business, tax, and estate planning. I'm somewhat high-end, and I try to work on flat fees.
On average I make around $700 per hour, but there's a lot of variation. The client I booked today is gonna pay me $6k, and I'm estimating that it'll take about 15-20 hours of work. On the other hand, earlier this year a client paid $10k for work that took no more than 10 hours (and probably a lot less)

thing is, it also takes a lot of time and effort to find those clients. And I'll meet plenty of potential clients who end up doing nothing. Realistically, I probably spend more time trying to find clients than working on their matters. Still, can't complain.

Thank you, I keep looking at this field. And for the same energy, I would make more. Just hate the sales part of any business.
