Haven't played it, but apparently's it's quite good.
Optional: Recommend me a good book.

The Time Machine

Maybe too old for me. I'm not big on the ... writing style of older books. The oldest book I can think of (that I am aware of) that I read and enjoyed was Dune.

Robert Charles Wilson - Spin

Thanks. Will look into this. Btw, for a good standalone sci-fi novel, I really enjoyed Ready Player One by Ernest Cline.

This one is already in my backlog. Regarding Spin, while I really enjoyed the book, the 2 sequels were ok but you won't miss out anything if you skip them.

Thanks. Good to know. I have quite a few fantasy books that rate highly in the first one or two books of a trilogy ... and I just pretend that the stories finish before the crappy books kick in.
The Lies of Locke Lamora is one of those. The subsequent books are a bit of a mess.
The first book of Anthony Ryan's Blood Song Trilogy is incredible ... the second book is okay, while the third book is a big pile of horse shit.
The first book of the Society of the Sword is great. Like the Blood Song Trilogy, the second book is okay while the third falls on its face.
Kind of wish these authors could be incentivized (Kickstarter?) to go back and re-write these to end these series with aplomb!

Looks like the first book always has the good idea in it and is well written while the rest gets written in a haste to either make money or to please the publisher.

Rendezvous with Rama - Arthur C Clarke. It's great if you're into sci-fi and stuff like 2001: A Space Oddyssey.
Avoid its sequels like the plague, though
