As someone who's trying to make a game in the same engine as this, I have to say this: Hooooo boy.

If the creator thinks one to two hours of THAT is worth the price they're charging, any serious RM project should probably be priced $100 higher. Other than the female lead, everything shown in the trailer and on the screenshots is as default as it gets, from the music to the sprites to the reaction icons. Worse yet, the mapping isn't just basic in terms of layout (and in terms of using the most common default asset), it's done outright incorrectly in several places. And if it's a "play it for the writing" type of project -- which I'm totally cool with; RM is a fine vehicle for such games -- the writing really needs to be more tightly edited than the exchange that was considered good enough to be the focus of the trailer.

... All of the above has made me morbidly curious about this game, though. Kinda jonesing to play through the whole thing myself now.
