That's interesting, but is it book reading, or reading everything and anything? With how many people have smartphones nowadays, most people still "read" while using phone (though some social media, or phone cameras do indeed focus on pure picture).

Hmm, thanks for the link. However, I'm not sure that works out this way. Or only with stretching the term. Is a teacher reading all the time (to the students)? Or the person at the cashier of a supermarket reading the prices? Because otherwise, at least here in Germany I can't see average people reading 5+ hours every day. Especially since I read other statistics similar too (e.g. watching TV 5+ hours too). But well, perhaps doing both the same time. Anyway, thanks for the link, even though I'd like to know more about the statistics...

Also good point. Perhaps people like to "overestimate" what they consider intellectual behaviour. In that case the statistics would show something eñse instead like desire to look intellectual or what ever.
But who knows. Interesting statistics anyway, even if they perhaps show other aspects than they promise at first glance.

Thank you for being excellent.

Have a random funny quote:

What is the best thing to do when you have a hole in a boat and water is leaking inside? Make another hole to drain the water.
