Warhammer Deathwatch Running as an Apothecary (Medic for those not familiar).
Apothecary has become known for being wrong. He doesn't succeed at any rolls besides Medicae. Everything else is a failure. GM has us encounter the Emperor of Man in a secluded outpost. Everybody besides the Apothecary fails the Awareness check. Apothecary can see it is fakery with chaos magic. He immediately draws his bolt pistol and fires a round as the "Emperor" is confident in his disguise. The shot hits the fake square in the head. On the back end, not only does it hit him in the head, the shot has righteous fury as he rolls a 10 on one of his damage rolls. (Righteous fury in Deathwatch is if your damage has at least 1 10 in the damage roll on a d10 it is considered the Emperor smiling upon you and you roll attack again and add additional damage until such time as you miss the attack roll or stop rolling 10s.) He rerolls his attack and hits again and again rolls 10 on a damage die continuing the process. He continues to do this until doing almost 400 damage in a game where life totals are more like 25ish for players and up to around 80 for the worst of the worst. Everyone is in shock as it appears this Apothecary has just killed their God. Then he gets back up from the dead chaos tendrils sprouting from where his head once was. Apothecary is the only one ready for combat shoots again. This time rolling nothing but righteous furies until doing 250ish damage. Almost like a sporting match while all the rolling was going on everyone was out of character cheering for the dice continuing to climb higher and higher. Great fun! He stayed dead after the second round. :)
