Didn't see the movie, but my guess is that "Happiness" realizes that "Sadness" brought happiness to someone, when "Happiness" should be the one to do that. Then again maybe I have no idea what I'm saying. :D

Crying is also very useful to let go very bad feelings, it's not good to keep yourself gathering up all those feelings, makes you feel worse and worse.
All you need is a hug, with a couple of words from a special someone to break you down, but you know it's the best you can do for that person.
