Leftover from the War Child Charity Bundle 2025 on Fanatical.
I adore both Coffee Talk games and am very much looking forward to the third installment. If you love cosy narrative games, this is a great one. You don't need to have played the first one, but it makes for a better narrative experience if you have, so I'd recommend that.
As far as I know this key isn't region restricted, but please allow me to delete the giveaway if for some reason you are unable to activate the key. Thanks!

I keep forgetting there was a 2, which is odd considering I followed Coffee Talk back when it was still Project Green Tea Latte. So thanks for the chance!

Yeah, definitlely a worthwhile play if you enjoyed the first one. Looks like we enjoy similar games so I've added you to my whitelist. :)

Hey there, mate! Appreciate the giveaway! Don't think i'm gonna enter it, 'cause i didn't play the first one, and, even though it's not necessary, my brain won't let me bypass the issue. So i'll leave more chance to someone who would enjoy it right away.
What i'm actually here for is to ask you how does this game fare in comparison to VA-11 Hall-A. Thank you!

Hello! Totally respect the "play them in order" type of gamer, particularly when it comes to games with a narrative focus.
Compared to VA-11 Hall-A, the Coffee Talk series is definitely way more relaxed in the sense that there's less drinks to have to keep track of, each drink is only comprised of three options, and we're not earning money to buy items or pay rent. It's focused purely on the relationships and stories between the customers and the barista. There's definitely overlap in the style (with customers coming in, asking for their drink, and chatting) and substance (occasional discussion of political/racial issues), but in general it's a lot cosier and friendly than the cyberpunk aesthetics and tone of VA-11 Hall-A. It's also shorter (I've played both titles through twice, and logged 14hrs on Coffee Talk and 22hrs in VA-11 Hall-A).
The bottom line is, if you like one, it's extremely likely you will enjoy the other. I highly recommend them!

Hey, mate! Sorry for replying so late, been busy.
I appreciate you taking the time to answer so thoroughly. You pretty much confirmed what i thought the differences would be, and as you say, i think i can surely enjoy this series too. :)
Thank you again, mate, for your time. :)
Have a good one!

Also, although it's been a long time since I've played it, I remember enjoying 2064: Read Only Memories quite a bit, and it shares some similarities with VA-11 Hall-A despite not being a VN. So I'd also recommend checking that one out to see whether it would be of interest.
