Which Android version do you use?
Samsung M23 with Android 14. It's a 2 y.o. phone, but I've got a new one at good price just 6 months ago or so. If it doesn't break, I'm likely to use it for another 5 years+, so it will probably get up to Android 15 or 16 and then I will get a new phone around Android 19-20.

Checked just for you, it's 10 QP1A.190711.020.
I hate phones and will not be using your(or anyone else's) phone software ever, maybe this is useful info for you, idk.

One of the people in the 7 or older camp, currently running Android 7.

Wow that's old, around 8 years old, not the safest. I wouldn't use that OS with internet, just for calls. Lot of issues like this: https://cyware.com/news/critical-flaw-in-android-can-lead-to-device-compromise-just-by-playing-video-29d0d64b

Damn, that's fun. But yeah, it's a tablet, so internet only. Mostly use it for gaming and a few sites so probably all good on my end.

Pixel 4a, so Android 13. Kind of unexpected, I thought I'd have the latest version but I guess this phone is getting kind of old

Hmmm it's tempting, but I'm hoping to trade it in for a newer phone in the next few weeks (assuming they give me a good trade in value hehe). I wasn't aware of LineageOS, thank you for sharing!

No problem! (Apparently there are two different Pixel 4a's, didn't notice before. If you ever go to ROM route you should find which one is yours.)
It's kinda weird that Google stopped updating a 4 year old phone but never trust Google with anything. :) However since the Google phones are the easiest one to install a custom ROM, you can even find more ROMs at xda and probably will get many updates software-wise. I still have Nexus 7 tablet and it still get updates of Android 11 (that's something).

Hey I'm making an android app for a gamer demographic, want to know the distribution of the versions used by gamers.
You can usually check the os version in the phone's Settings, if you scroll down to the System section, it should be in one of the sub-menus.
I have created an SGTools giveaway. The requirement to enter is that you add Dungeon of the ENDLESS to your wishlist. Giveaway (EU only)
Please bump!
