Jarren Benton did have some funny bars, like the response to Dice fucking his wife. "I'd let you fuck my wife but she don't like pussy". Dizzy Wright really went in as well, he went the hardest out of Funk Volume in my opinion. Hopsin was weak, I expected better.
HSG are just getting warmed up in my opinion, I've listened to them for years. That 2nd diss is going easy on them. It'll be interesting to see if Funk Volume keeps this going, it'll be getting HSG a lot of attention. Which is never a bad thing for underground rappers.

Another part that had me laughing is how they pointed out dude can't add up to 500k, 225 + 225 = 450. I thought the 2nd diss from HSG showed that they had to approach this like FV did which is in favor of FV, but I love exchanges like this and it makes me like it more since I'm from LA as well, hope they keep it fun like higgers10 said.
It's true it will get HSG a lot of attention which they deserve but since it's going on over youtube it will be filled with FV fanboys that will hate on them just to hate.

Haha, yeah that had me mad laughing. You're not wrong, all I've seen on all of the artists twitter pages and all of the YouTube pages are Funk Volume fanboys. You get some people saying Hopsin was the only one that went in, in my honest opinion, his verse was lame in comparison to Dizzy and Jarren's verses. I kind of wish SwizZz was involved though, I have a feeling he'd have snapped on that FV track.

After nearly a week of waiting, Funk Volume finally responded to HSG:

Personally, I thought both tracks went really hard and I like both so I'm just happy to see some decent rappers finally going in at each other instead of this weak Meek Mill vs. Drake garbage. But I still see HSG coming back strong and winning this, especially if Crooked I jumps in on it. Props to both groups/labels though.
I realise this won't be everyone's interest but I'm personally interested to see how many real rap fans are on SG.
