Hey SG, we were experiencing slow load times for the past 4 hours. It looked like a DDoS attack, and the logs showed an extra 200+ page views a second to our homepage from a thousand different IP addresses. I wrote some code to help identify and block the incoming requests that appear suspicious, so the load on our database server is back to normal, and performance should be restored.
I'll continue to keep on eye on things, but in the meantime please let me know if any of your legitimate requests are redirected to a blocked page. Thanks!
