Hello everyone,

Do you think Infinite will be the last BioShock game? I've saw alot of people really want something like: "WE WANT BIOSHOCK 4!", i mean alot...
But personally, i think Bioshock is Perfect. I hope it's over and don't want anything else added to it. Really guys, this series is the best thing i've ever played, heard, seen in whole my entire life. Until now, all the modern games, i cannot find any game that can beat bioshock series (except The Witcher 3, but they're not things to be compared with each other).
Someone decided to gather up some of the original Bioshock assets and see how they'd look in a next gen engine and it looks incredible
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTysmqulFwI

Anyway, it's just my personal opinion, what's yours? Thanks and sorry for my english

Do you want more Bioshock game?

View Results
Yes! Ofcourse! Jesus! who dont want Bioshock game
No! This series suck. It should be dead!
Maybe, but i think they should remaster the orginal Bioshock
No! I want something new from Ken Levine
Potato

I think given how huge the ending of Infinite was, they would have to be extremely creative to produce a worthy new game in the series. I personally love the Bioshock games, but trying to top Infinite might completely backfire on them.

I want a return to the System Shock series!

I've heard that they are a project name: We Happy Few (i dont know but i see it's very similar to the first bioshock)
you can look at it here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdL4lZLVL6w

Oh dear, I don't like that look of that. I was afraid they might try to make something similar to Bioshock. The problem is if you remind people of Bioshock, they'll just want another Bioshock.

well, it's kind of a roguelike game (you have 1 life and try to survive as long as possible; if you die you start over again). so although there are certain similarities, i would't say it's really similar to Bioshock.

they don't try to work with the bioshock name even in references.
it is a small dev team, that released an 3rd person actionadventure before and has a very small budget.

We Happy Few is an semismall indiegame and not an aaa-title like bioshock. i don't think they will fail.

I've enjoyed it a lot and waiting impatiently for "We Happy Few" to come out ^_^
But Ken Levine does making another sci-fi game, but there is not much known about it. Aside the fact that it'll be awesome!

"There's always a lighthouse. There's always a man. There's always a city."

At least they have spelled out a few reference points already. Now what they need to do is to
a) come up with a setting where those points exist.
b) find a new philosophical debate to base a plot on

Yes I want, but the developer left and disbanded the studio, so there will be no more Bioshock. He is going to start making small indie games.

The publisher (2K) disagrees on that, and they hold the rights to the BioShock name and are calling it a core franchise (next to GTA, Borderlands etc.)
Of course with both studios working on the games (Irrational and 2K Marin) no longer around, no-one knows what happens yet. All we can say is that 2K isn't that interested in churning out yearly titles, going by previous pace the earliest we can expect anything will be sometime next year.

I'm still only even playing BioShock which I won in a recent giveaway ... :P
Pretty fun though, enjoying it so far, even if is a bit... "Where the heck am I supposed to go...?" at times, and running into a bug very early on with that doctor guy and supposed to "catch" grenades to unblock the way... but the guys with grenades never spawned (fixed with reload)

In looking that up though, I was thinking what....the...feck ... Lol... I mean, entire threads dedicated to complaining about swapping the "Little Sisters" underwear from cute frilly shorts in 1 to block panties in 2?

Yes! That's the best thing about Bioshock, the main char is just a silent guy, the city is dirt, dark and wet. You dont know why are you here, where you have to go, and the enemy is just alittle creepy. It creats an perfect atmosphere for the game

the studio is closed so if there will be another bioshock will come from another studio and would be a shitty game which want to make money by the game name, Levine was the mind behind bioshock and he decided the serie has finished and after infinite i can say the story has ended, so there will be no bioshock 4 and should not be.actually we have the same opinion :D

For me it can stay as it is. Every Bioshock game was a great experience, but that doesn't mean I want more. Also, with the current situation, I think it's unlikely we'll ever get another part of the series.

I haven't played the DLC yet fyi. But after all that hype, censorship, and weird changes, Infinite was a huge disappointment!!

Hopefully the next Bioshock game will be amazing as the first game(and 2, kinda) :)

Dont know, i'm a huge fan of the first and second Bioshock, and when Infinite came out, I was just confused like ya. But after finished, i can see (at my mention below): "this series is the best thing i've ever played, heard, seen in whole my entire life". I implied BIOSHOCK INFINITE ^^

I really disliked the ending to Infinite.
And there were so many cool things that were changed from the first gameplay trailers it's not even funny.

I'd give it a 8/10 just because it is a solid game overall.

Is it a good game? Yes
Is it a good Bioshock game? I don't think so

I think it's amusing that you don't put "The series is perfect as it is." as an option for the poll :p as that is your personal opinion too :D

I haven't played Bioshock 2 and Infinite but I know what you mean. I bet Infinite is a great game but I think it's weird to expand it from sea to air, what will be next then? Some underground city or a space city?
I think they could do little stories in the setting of Rapture when they want to make more games but I'm good with what they are offering now.

ya know, use a little aspect of the story or a littile stories of a little and forgettable character to expand the huge thing in the main story. This is the best driving story devs have done in video game and movie. totally agree with you ^^

That new 2K game about city in the future Advent or whatever it is called is awfully Bioshock-like. "The Advent Administration strives to create a world free from hunger, pain, sickness, and war. We believe in a global community of happy and comfortable citizens." - it can't get more bioshocky than this. [EDIT] Oh wait it's XCOM 2. So nothing for Bioshock for now, but 4 can top Infinite easily.

It's XCOM 2, and centers on a "benevolent" alien invasion of Earth. That's pretty far removed from Bioshock I think, given that Bioshock so far has been about humans doing horrible things to other humans.

Yeah, I updated myself through Google a while ago :) Still, it's disturbing how awfully similar that discription is to Bioshock. Still, Bioshock of the future would be a nice change of pace.

We already know what happens, Bioshock 2 is what happens and I do not want to see that kind of thing anymore. I mean its a decent game it would be great game if it wasnt for the first Bioshock but it just feels like a dumb middle brother, at least for me. System Shock 3 is a choice but its almost impossible. I heard about Perception, Ken Levine is not in the team but it looks promising ( at least for now).

Personally i want a biohosck infinite 2 and a new bioshock on a new setting. I liked bioshock infinite but the gameplay was a bit too stale for my taste, elizabeth only gave you ammo and most enemies were just sponges; with a few refinements to the weapons and a better map layout would make wonders for the game IMHO.
A new setting for anew bioshock would also be great for me because i enjoy exploring rapture and the cloud city. I'd enjoy exploring another setting like that.
Knowing that the bioshock studio closed i i'm suspicious if the new bioshock games will be up to their legacy.

I enjoy games with good atmosphere and setting. The Bioshock games made a well job, eventhough they didn't quite fulfill my expectations I had since System Shock.

They're better off making something new again with a similar style.
