Apparently, I am the winner of a giveaway (I could have sworn I'd make it to 1,000 without winning, but I guess entering the low entry count ones pays off), but my inbox on all of my emails is still empty. I'm fairly paranoid, so I'd like to know exactly how long I should wait before panicking. An hour? A day? Does it depend on the giver?

No e-mail ever comes. You have to come to the site to see. If you've won, an unmissable green banner will appear on the screen and clicking it will take you here. The only e-mail that will be sent comes if that's how the user prefers to send their gifts. Personally, I prefer to add them as a Steam friend, so you'd never get mail from me.

Okay, thank you. The exact phrasing of the banner was "Congratulations, you're the winner of a giveaway! Watch your e-mail, and let us know when you receive the gift by clicking here."
It made it seem as though I was intended to wait for email contact and the link was only to confirm that I recieved it.

"What your e-mail," as in the sender will likely send your gift through email, not as in steam gifts will contact you.

Yes, I know. Glad you're not a troll like Mr. Decade up there, though.
