Eh, I'll leave it up to you then. I consciously avoid large smartphones as a matter of preference (and small hands).

But that's not what i asked , i asked if i should get a phone right now (HOX+) Or wait for better phones? like galaxy s4 , htc m7 , note 3 ,etc etc

Generally speaking (because I don't know the current state of the specific models you're asking) Android phones reached their peak around last year or so, so getting an older model wouldn't be a bad choice.

Galaxy S4 no details? I can't find any. I wouldn't be hedging my cash on it if I were without a phone right now, so grab the S3 (or S2 if you're budget minded and wait for S4 to drop in price in a year).

Note 3 is apparently a pretty good upgrade from Note 2, and I'll expect it to carry a hefty price as well. Again, in this stage of lifecycle, you're better off getting current model (which should drop in price/has dropped in price due to rumours and announcements of new models).

I really can't help with HTC models. No clue whatsoever. But again, as all smartphones tend to be refreshed yearly, it's a good time to grab old model and wait for new model to drop in price before getting on board.

Edit: Looks like HTC M7 rumours are tipping 50-50 as to final design, specs and prices. If I were you, I'd stay the hell away from it until it is officially announced.

If you can get your hands on a Nexus 4, do it. I've not managed it yet though - the only ones available in stores come with some ridiculous contract. Can't believe Google only thought to manufacture like 10 of these.

The nexus 4 is limited with 16gb storage , its off the table for me .

If you have a possibility take a Nexus 4, it should be up to date with the newest Android versions for the foreseeable future and that counts a lot. Either way new generations won't be that much better than HOX+

I'd personally go with the Galay S III due to HTC'S poor quality recently. But if you're without a phone now and don't intend to wait a few months, I guess you're better off with whatever you like best from the current choices.

Nexus 4 is great but its limited with 16 gb storage , note 2 is way to big , HOX+ is a bit better than the S3

One X+ is heavier, Galaxy S III is thinner.

The display resolutions are similar. S III's display is bigger.

Galaxy S III has a SD slot, One X+ doesn't.

One X+ doesn't support LTE in my country. Galaxy S III supports LTE worldwide.

1.9MP front shooter (S III) vs 1.6MP (One X+).

Galaxy S III's battery lasts longer, One X+ consumes more energy and it's battery isn't removable.

But if you want to believe that the HTC One X+ is better, I'm fine with that. I just don't get why you opened this thread then...

HTC only allows you to run eight apps at once. Multitasking in HTC phones is awful.

S III's GPU is powerful.
Plus,

Benchmark results:

NenaMark 2

Samsung Galaxy S III 58,6

HTC One X+ 56,7

Vellamo Metal tests

Samsung Galaxy S III 558

HTC One X+ 491

now about this like " I'm fine with that. I just don't get why you opened this thread then.." , you really should look back at the main post.

I've posted 2 benchmarks where SGS3 wins hands down and you reply with another benchmark? What do you want to prove? lol.

HTC One X+ isn't faster even when it gets better benchmark results, you see, you want 4 cores for paralel processing but it happens that multitasking is awful in HTC phones. When you do a benchmark test you're only executing one application. That's why SGS3 UI is much more fluid.

Why don't you post a video from a graphical benchmark? Oh, that's right, SGS3 GPU is much more powerful... Which applications do you use that require so much processing capacity? Games right? Well, we are on steamgifts, everyone here knows that a graphics card is more expensive than a processor. Everyone here knows that you'll need a top of the range graphics card if you want to play the newest games in ultra specs...

HTC One X+ build quality may be superior but that's not so important, I mean, I don't throw my SGS3 to the ground. Same thing with the Apple's magsafe, only clumsy people can say they really make use of that. If you are one of those people you'll be better getting a Nokia 3310 like someone has already suggested, the HTC One X+ won't last long... I've also had both phones in my hand and the One X+ feels like a brick tbh.

SGS3 is thinner and lighter, has better performance, a bigger display, a powerful GPU, a SD slot and a better front shooter. It supports LTE, the battery lasts longer and is removable. Given this, how can you say that the HTC One X+ is better? Care to elaborate?

If you want a high-end phone, wait for Sony Xperia Z. It's waterproof and can take quite a beating.

HTC One X is a good choice. Out of all the Android phones it's often praised as having one of the best screens. I went with the One S myself and I'm quite content, the build quality and hardware are pretty much flawless. Can't vouch for Samsung phones though, their products often have a slight cheap feel to them due to using plastic way too much. Hope they'll change that one day.
