Is Killing Floor worth $5?

Only if you love squad/team based survival FPS. It has a relative slow pace compared to stuff like L4D but it's also more difficulty and requires much more teamplay to survive.

The engine is a bit old but the gameplay is still fun.

if you only have 5$ and have to choose a game, i would strongly recommend you to wait for a better game, not that KF is bad, but there are a lot better.

Yes, if you like co-op games. I love it.
You and your team kill waves of "specimen" (basically zombies) and you have to actually work as a team and use your perks to their full capabilities. There are no cross-hairs so you have to aim down the sights for precision. Each wave gets harder until you face the "Patriarch" (name for the boss). There are small things that make the game really interesting like you get a syringe to heal yourself but it takes time to use and to recharge. Pulling out your knife makes you walk faster, and you get money for surviving that you can use to spend on weapon upgrades for the current level. Your perks level up when you use them correctly and the more players in a game the more mobs spawn.

after 3 years, they release new content, for free. i think this game worth more than 5 $.

It's very good game. It's much more worth than $5.

If you have friends getting it or that own it I would say it's definitely worth $5. I only play it occasionally but have put 62 hours into it and will being playing more in the future!

It's actually worth $60, but Treyarch is awesome and put it at $20. (Get the bundle)
