I dunno, just might not have been my cup of tea. And I like all kinds of games from almost all genres. Though I have played and enjoyed many other games that are similar.
The several times I tried Blockstorm, it took over 2 hours to find a match that had more than one person in it.
The game looks rushed and not very polished, the mechanics are nice but no one does anything but run and gun. No prep work using the digging mechanics or anything to setup traps. When more people did finally join, there was no team balance feature and all but one player joined the same team to slaughter that one player. That happened to me once, it wasn't fun. The map and character editor is a nice idea, but the controls for it are horrid and takes a LOT of work and even more patience to get anything made.

I remember when the game first came out, IndieGala posted announcements about it at least 5 times a day on Steam via the IndieGala group. They were advertising it like hell. I guess once people started ignoring it (it's really bad), they started giving it away in hopes of reviving it. I don't think that's working either lol.

I would guess that at least half of the "sold" copies of the game where those which they gave out for free for the people who fulfilled the requirements on indiegala...at that time ^^

The Jet Racing Extreme on orlygift is very easy to get now, tho. Only 40, 50 people per round.
