Updated: Here's all .99 to $2 DLC, heree. You can also use the $2 discount on items greater than $2. (I bought a 1.99 DLC and have .01 discount left over.

Is this how the Shogun 2 DLC is going around too? I want to grab some Shogun 2 DLC.

On a side note, I hate how Steam has trouble detecting some DLC - I can't tell what DLC I'm missing for Magicka. Most of it is rubbish to me anyway.

The only way around this is to go to your library, right-click the game you want to check, hit properties, select the DLC tab, and see if you already own it. I've been bitching about this glitch for ages but it seems that Steam doesn't consider this bug a high priority.

I think you do have to add a credit card, but at the last step before checkout it will ask you for a discount code... once you enter it, it takes $-2 off your order, and if the balance is 0 your card isn't charged.

I used an old gift card that I didn't think had any money on it, but it turns out it had around $5, so with that and the coupon code, I'm now the proud owner of the Villain Robes DLC, Nippon DLC and the newest DLC, Dungeons and Daemons.

Just use any US address where there's no sales tax (ie Oregon). Works just fine with any major credit card.

You can use the code for -$2 off any digital video games, so you can use it toward things like a Borderlands 2 Season Pass or Psychonauts
