So the original 3 grockets are back? Or is Valve just teasing everyone and just found this as an excuse to continue them?

Uh, what is a grocket? I must have missed this update.

The grockets are the rockets that landed. The Soldier space weapons from awhile back and there was a comic to go with it. Then again Valve time on the others.. so makes sense.

Bumped for awesomeness.
The update launches tomorrow, but the drop rate is doubled now until Wednesday!

Being one of the best combat engies of my time I feel for the lack of useful stuff for him. The new Wrench sounds pretty hilarious, though.

Aww man, I was hoping for a flamethrower that utilize the airblast.

Cool, but then again I don't really care for TF2 much.

More crappy poorly balanced bloat to add to the car wreck that is Team Fortress 2.

I'd call it a higher magnitude disaster like a train wreck. Can be a fun one, however.
You can't really play TF2 as you used to back in 2007~2009. It's really just not the same, due to the concentrated amounts of cluttered items with poor balancing in general.

I haven't experienced much trouble with the supposed overpowered weapons. Since 2007 I have been hearing about how the Demoman is overpowered, Pyro is a class for noobs, etc etc, but that never stopped me from having fun. And we can't really judge the weapons before we try them - maybe the Engineer wrench has a "casting" time, maybe the Pyro axe does poor damage, etc.

If there's one class to be considered overpowered, it is the soldier. This fact is proven even further by the fact that Robin Walker has a gigantic boner towards him and pumps out new sets of weapons for him all the bloody time.
Pyro received the airblast a while back which pretty much made him god after they've calibrated it a bit, and the Demoman takes a lot of practice to play with properly. The soldier, not so much. I remember when they increased the Area Of Effect for explosives and let me tell you that's what pretty much broke the game for me. Didn't keep me from playing though, until they added the cash shop which is a whole different story.

It's just a teaser. But maybe Meet the Pyro is coming?
