Hey guys.. I tried googling a bit and found some topics regarding the same question as mine but didn't seem to find any answer...

In the past I have only 1 giveaway, which all the winners marked it as received. Currently I am having few giveaways, in 2 of them the winners are not responding even tho they are online on SG, when I tried adding them on Steam they did not accept. Now, I know I can request a new winner after 7 days, but how would I know they did not use the key and just didn't mark it as received? What would I do then? Hope I am clear, my English can be pretty confusing to others sometimes... lol

thanks!

You can't :( That's why you gotta trust people a bit blindly here. However, you can revoke the key if you are the one who bought it right :3 So you do have power over this

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you can contact support after 7 days and have them fill in the received feedback for you.

I belive they can only mark it as received if the winner have it in library.

Not really. If they have a history of running away with keys, you can use it as a basis of saying they saw the key and there is a possibility they got away with it. They force feedback, and the winner either serves the suspension, asks you to see the key, or takes the suspension because he already sold/regifted it.

You can just mark received anytime you want, it doesn't check for the game when you click it. There are certain DLCs that don't register that they're owned so that system where it checks to see if you own it while marking relieved would have some problems with it.

I know that a winner can mark it as received even if they hadnt activated the key. I ment if the winner havent marked it. Then the creator could make a support ticket and the admins would mark it as received for you if the winner have it in library.

Happen to me.
If you ask how i know if he activate the key ?
I just check his profiles and his games, he have the game.
Then i just remind him if he already activate the key, he must mark as received.
He did, so solved :D

Your giveaways are over for just a day. Give your winners a little more time. Have they been online on Steamgifts and Steam? If not they had no chance to activate their key. Even if they have been online on SG and Steam, they might share their PC/account and the real winner was not online.
If they still have not marked their wins received in 2 days, try to comment in old giveaways of them.

Mmh, you say they're online here in SG, but what about steam?
They might be away from their homes for the weekend and just using SG from their phones, I've done that a few times.

Just give them a few days, real life can get in the middle when it comes to activating keys ;)

Even online on Steam could mean the phone app or the web messaging system. None of these will allow you to activate a key.

Didn't knew that counted as online for steam.

or they just leave their computer on 24/7

Ideally, keep some proof (receipt for purchase, screenshot from Humble Bundle, to show you have a genuine key; screenshot of the key being sent to the winner to prove you sent it), in case they argue you gave a bad key (rare, but can happen)
