Dark Souls is a great game, with horrible controls, you absolutely need, not pretty much need, a controller for that game, as awesome as it is, the m/kb controls are, damn, let's not talk about those anymore than we have to, alright?

Just Cause 2, great single and multiplayer with a controller. Chaos your socks off

From the games you own: Dark Souls, both Batman games, Dust, Mark of the Ninja, The Last Remnant, and even XCOM should be ok with a gamepad.

hack n' slash games work very well with controllers!
Dark souls, Darksiders, DmC, Castlevania are pretty good games for you to try
Also, you should try some 2D platformers, like Rogue Legacy, Giana Sisters 1 and 2, Mark of the Ninja, Super Meatboy and Spelunky :D

Focus on both Batman games, then Darksiders games and then Dark Soul.
It would be a damn great idea to have Just Cause 2 installed to mess around with too, by the way. That game is just incredibly fun.

That's a great idea, hope you can stick with it!
Looking at your list of unplayed games, ones I enjoyed more with a controller: Dark Souls, Batmans, Just Cause 2, Saints Row 3, and also Dark Souls. There's a lot of other ones I either haven't played, or don't remember how I played it.
Oh, and also Dark Souls! Good luck! :)

Dishonored, The Walking Dead, Borderlands 2, Skyrim, Sleeping dogs, State of decay, Dark Souls, All Batman Arkham games, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, Just Cause 2, Mafia 2, Portal 2, The Witcher 2.
Some of my games that came to mind. Haven't checked if you have them or played them already.

I looked at your current game list and I'm going to go with Darksiders(played it some before I got a controller and I look forward to seeing how much easier it will be with one), Fez(platforming just tends to work better with a controller), any of those fighting games you have and I hear Dark Souls practically requires a controller to play.

OK,
My resolution this year is to make a dent into my backlog of over 140 games. I plan to finish at least 1 game a month this year.
I finally got a 360 controller so I can play those games I've been putting off for a while.
So, what game should I start with? Chances are, I probably have the game in my library.
