Seems likely, though the choke on points should keep things fair for everyone.

I'm guessing that there will be a lot more giveaways, but a lot of people will save their purchases for later. I've seen several giveaways stating that they purchased a certain game during the winter sale (not gifted from the sack), so a few people do save them.

Will the summer sale cause a lot more giveaways to pop up? Most likely, yes. Will it in any way impair the functioning of this site? No. How would it? It's a ridiculous notion.

For sure there will be more giveaways! During summer sale you can win games on Steam. But what to do if i win game that i don`t need/like - giveaway!

Well, if you look at the Statistics page, there is a small rise in giveaway value around the Christmas sale period, which, to me implies more giveaways at that time - i.e. sale --> more giveaways. (Or it could be the gifting Christmas festive mood but hey)

Also, the rise would be more significant if Pkeod hadn't broken the stats graph in March with 25k of Faerie Solitaire keys.

In the past there were big jumps at the holiday sales. Not sure if the increase will be as big now that there are so many more people, but I predict there still will be more than usual.

Contributor giveaways have seemed to help a lot as well.

I'm expecting a massive increase in the amount of giveaways. Not complaining though, 300+ points in a matter of hours will be awesome.

Steamgifts should raise the points limit to like 500 for the meantime.
