A: Because Support team consists of just 5~6 moderators who handle support tickets, pending suspensions, for a community of over 25k active members. They receive so many support tickets that it gets difficult for them to handle the bazilion tickets which are sent. They do answer it, but you've got to be patient. Include the fact that they've got their own social lives and can't be on Steamgifts 24/7 (Because they aren't robots like cg, but that's another story)
Also keep in mind, they do this service for free.

Which could be fixed by CG taking onboard several members that wish to answer support tickets :D I have lost count of those that offer themselves up, i am sure a few could be chosen and found worthy.
Although i have seen a ton of people offer services to do support i see none that have been taken up on it so i guess no hiring etc

Depends what the question was. Overall, though, tons of support tickets submitted throughout a day and only so many support members who do this for free, so they can only get things done so quickly in the end.

All tickets will be answered eventually. If you don't get a response to your ticket within a week, feel free to bump it.

I submitted two "Request new winner" reports not long time ago. One was fulfilled and second was ignored since "supporter" asked one question.
What do i need to type in there to get my question answered and trouble solved?
