I'm a bit mixed about your post. I mostly understand your point but there one thing for me that almost puts you in the category of people you are criticizing. Its that you have multiple copies of freebies. It has happened to me that I saw a game has become free and it seems nice but once I arrive an hour late, all copies have been taken by a couple of persons who will (a) gift it all for CV, (b) sell trade them (c) have 50 copies just for the pleasure of denying others. So is that any better than beggars, leechers, ingrates or swindlers? What your view? So I suppose I get blacklisted now.

Some of these I have had for a long time. Many were leftovers after bundles because I had already received the game for free elsewhere so I ended up with a leftover key. The ones from DLH.net just showed up in my inventory one day because I was a member there. I never get more than one free key at a time for any of these giveaways. I don't have multiple accounts to farm them. Pid was two separate giveaways and I don't even remember requesting one from IndieGala but it showed up in my list a few weeks ago. I have never gifted a game that I received for free to farm CV except for the Dead Island Epidemic: No-Brainer DLC that I got for being a tester for Stunlock Studios. I had a better DLC for the game already that gave more stuff so I didn't need that one. I didn't even enter my email on IndieGala for Humanity Asset. Do you get those automatically now by being a member? I fully understand where you are coming from but I am definitely not one of "those" people.

IMO the feature has done more harm on this site than good. There have been more arguments about reasons to BL than I care to count. The spirit of giving has been tainted by competitions to see who can be the biggest asshole in how they choose to use their blacklist. I hate the feature but now I have reason to use it. Even with a warning some people are so damned stupid and have still messed up here.
Be careful when using those :P face emotes around here. Someone may be offended and blacklist you for it!

Well, gosh. I'd argue those people need a sense of humor! In all honestly though, I am a fan of it. I've seen a couple real toolbags in other threads, enough to the point where I consciously don't want to give them a game. A good example is right around the time Deadpool came back on Steam, and some dude posted asking for like 60 keys for it. Someone pointed out that you could get the game for $40 and the OP there flipped out like a 6 year old saying "if you dont want the deal dont take it, stop clouding up my page with your comments" only far more profane and far less coherent. A person like that, actively trying to rip people off and being that rude, does not deserve to participate in a giveaway.
I've also been ripped off once, others have been ripped off more times. I think instances like these are perfect for blacklisting. Sure, other people still might abuse the feature, but honestly give people some degree of control and there will always be those who take it too far.

I wonder how come I don't have Dead Bits yet, but it seems I have missed on that one. If you happen to still have it, I will appreciate to give it a try - it looks kind of fun. I don't like the blacklist feature but I'm pretty sure that some of you who don't read before responding or fail to follow my instructions will end up on it. I welcome you now as this will be out last correspondence before I add you and you disappear from my life. I am making this thread long on purpose so that all of the TL;DR people can screw it up and those that take the time to read can have a better chance of experiencing my (cough) generosity.
Whenever IndieGala, Alienware, DLH.net, or some other site gives away free keys for games it's usually for I game that I already own so I have a bunch of keys laying around to give away. Most of them are bundled games or have been removed from the giveaway list here due to their free/given away in mass quantities status. Sorry, no Skyrim. I heard that there was still one Steam user out there that still doesn't have Gun Monkeys. Hopefully he sees this post.

Rather than drop them here for ungrateful ninjas who never say thanks or say that they got it I've decided to do it differently. Just reply what game you want and I'll add you on Steam, give you the key, and unfriend you soon afterwards. I have no idea where I got some of these keys from and I have had a few for quite awhile now so I cannot guarantee their validity. If I give you a key that isn't valid I will apologize now in advance. It's not like you'd be losing anything anyway. If you bitch about it you will be blacklisted. Feel free to reply in the comments below, even if someone has beat you to it, because they may not get the game from me still. I will be looking at your Steamgifts and Steam profiles before giving you the key. If you are a regifter, have unactivated gifts on your profile, are already on my blacklist, have a VAC ban, or just an asshole, don't bother unless you have missed a position on my blacklist and are just trying to remind me that I need to add you. If you don't thank me or acknowledge receipt of the key after I give it to you then you may end up on my blacklist for that as well. Saying thanks, calling me an ass hole, posting cat gifs, starting and participating in arguments on who can kick whose ass between Floyd Mayweather and Rhonda Rousey WILL NOT earn you a spot on my blacklist. I'm not that anal. Only one key per person so make sure of the one that you want.
