Yeah, but they're trying to promote a game that's in beta, THQ, for Last light, and Gryffin games, for the ship or whatever their name is, are both promoting for their sequel.

Comment has been collapsed.

I'm not against the games that they publish, I don't they because they devaluate good games. Cmon metro 2033 for free? SR3 in a bundle? THQ franchise for that price, that's why they're bunkrupt and deserves it.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

wrong the priceing is only being done since they started to notice they were going bankrupt

1 decade ago
Permalink

Lol, nope. They are doing those prices BECAUSE THEY ARE BANKRUPT AND NEED EVERY SALE THEY CAN GET,

Go and get lost with your EA games seriously. Oh wait, NOW I got it! You are one of those COD fanboys of Activison who get literally milked.

You wouldnt recognize a good RTS if it punches you straight in the face.

Omfg kid, THQ is just publisher not developer...

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Wasnt even my point u scrub. Ofc Relic is the developer. But do you believe Dow would be Dow if its been published by EA for example?

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Most of THQ games are of in-house developers of THQ itself. AKA, they are owned by THQ.

So yes, in a way, they are developers.

well, i don't agree with you, i like their franchises.

1 decade ago

I guess you love the games that THQ publish

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

some of them yes. Saints Row, for being hilariously unrealistic, Red Faction for being in a SciFi setting and for blowing up things.

I don't exactly love them, but i get some fun out of them. they don't deserve to go bankrupt to the point of no return.

I recently wrote a review on Red Faction: Armageddon
it pretty much explains what goes wrong on their end, so far i've seen that in all THQ games.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

So you love the games that they publish not really THQ

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Let me put it like this. Some games i like are published by THQ, Others a Indies, some are by published by Activision, even EA, when i like a game, i don't care who published it.

If THQ went down the drain for good, i wouldn't miss it, because i got the games i like already, and have no idea if i would like Saints Row for or the next Red Faction.

It's about the games, not the publishers.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

So why did you said that you don't agree with me? You don't really like THQ just the titles.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Because if THQ goes down, the titles go down to, since THQ holds the rights to them. THQ also owns the studios that own them.
Sure, the people find jobs with other companies, the rights would most likely be sold to other publishers.

But god knows what would happen then. It's not a question of liking or not liking. It's a question of who you think is best for the things you like. In Case of the corporate owned franchises Saints Row, Red Faction, Homefront, and the other one i keep forgetting i don't think we'd ever see anything of them again. Licensed stuff like Warhammer will be around as long as Games Workshop keeps making miniatures.

Yeah, hate them for giving away free games.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I can't argue with a guy that wait games in bundle or free to play. Did you paid for metro?

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I got it from the Humble Bundle THQ. But what's the point? How many companies giveaway AAA games?
Actually, I think they're doing this to promote Metro Last Light which is a smart move by THQ since not much people knew about Metro, now they do, and if they liked Metro 2033 they would surely buy Metro Last Light, which looks cool btw.

No we shouldn't do free to play (Free to play means that its free BUT to get everything you have to pay A LOT of money) Lets just make it FREE. "OMG whats FREE" -___-. "Wait I dont have to pay for items daddy?"
