RE5 is actually pretty decent in co-op (but awful on solo due to atrocious Sheva's AI). RE6 is just bad in every possible way

I loved RE 5 in both single and coop. I heard that RE 6 is just 5 but with more action and I heard only positive things about it.

RE6 is a pretty bad game. Look up reviews and check out the gamefaqs boards. It didn't do well. I liked RE5, but RE6 has to many interrupted QTE's and the story is terrible. There are some who like it though. Not sure. Do some research on it though before you decide.

Season pass would be quite nice, if that tier gets unlocked.
RE5 though has been $5, and soundtrack+artbook? Doubt most people would care for those.
So yes, if SP gets unlocked it could be pretty nice, but if RE6 turns out to be terrible then I doubt a few extra DLCs will fix it, and it'd still be $40 down the drain.

i like resident evil 6, but i really hate the way is going, i mean the game is not about terror and creepyness of zombies, just action, quicktime events and linear levels, just like dead space 3

$39.99? Not bad... I rarily pre-order games. I did pre-order BL2 because I got it for $36 at GMG and wasn't really interested but my brother really wanted it so I got us both a copy. Same for Diablo 3... 2 pre-orders... expensive and not worth it... we did play it a lot right up until the real money auction house was released, then quit and never came back...
I just may pre-order this though. Love RE.

Colonial Marines won't stop people from preordering, just like War Z didn't do it. Nor did Duke Nukem Forever, Elemental, or any other game. We could see three or four major pre-order games flop in a row, and people would still queue up to pre-order stuff.
I bet Sega could start taking preorders for Colonial Marines 2 right now and they'd see people signing up. They could probably manage it with some token pre-order bonuses, and could certainly get people signing up if they used the cumulative rewards system that is being used with Tomb Raider 6 and Resident Evil 6.
