This game is awful - totally not worth buying. The Third >>> IV

Saints Row 2 > Saints Row The Third
Being able to pick up poles and throw them at people made me love Saints Row 2!

Saints Row 2 > Saints Row The Third, only if you have a console to play it on. On PC, SR3 > SR2 because SR2 is an unplayable mess.

lol GOTY? This game has goty tag? Game is good and decent to beat, play some time, and do secondary missions before it gets boring, but not that good to deserve goty, SR3 deserves it more.

SR games are good, but are missing tons of stuff like nature zones(like mountains, hills, etc), more accessible buildings, ships(there are just some in SR3 not easy to find, and I never saw one in SR4), train(the city has rail, and it got a train, but this train is always broken laying somewhere), possibility to sit in places like bars, more living places, bigger coop because 2 players coop is not big, multiplayer, and more.

I'm not saying it needs to be like GTA, but SR could be a lot better if had things for decoration it already has but as a working feature, so you have some stuff like sofas, pool tables, bars, airport, train(broken), slot machines, etc(you can think of more of them), but you can't interact with this things they're just there for decoration.

Volition should focus more in making more features in SR games to make ppl able to communicate with the game environment so we can feel the city atmosphere is living and multiplayer, rather than the story mode and superpowers, which is very stupid imo.

SR2 had a bunch of interesting different zones, SR3/4 did not, everything looked copy and pasted in all honesty. It also had way more enterable buildings, working trains, an actual night/day system, co-op was also bigger with multiple mods(This goes for 1 and 2). IMO SR2 was just a better and bigger version of San Andreas...also many things were usable and not for decoration, hell you can pick up most things and use them as weapons.

They need to reboot Saints Row using this gen tech and make it great again, leave behind all this silly alien crap.

I remember they were saying "Our SRIV is GTA V competitor" I laugh at this now, I think I probably spend more time watching videos about GTA V from Yotubers than playing SRIV. SRIV doesn't even reaches GTA V knees in competition.

GTA V is really pretty good, I still prefer SR2 but its pretty close to me...nice game, can't wait for PC version.

Most of those DLCs add new weapon or skin, there are 2 DLC with story-content, but those you can get in Season Pass.

If you really want to play it and you can get base+season-pass, it's really enough.

Just get game + season pass. You don't need other DLC.

Season Pass doesn't cover everything, just 2 DLC: http://store.steampowered.com/app/238302/

It has all the DLC that's worth getting i.e. the new content DLCs. The other DLCs are just paid cheats and new skins just like with SR3.

Probably just "Complete" or "Full Package". I'm also waiting for the game to be sold complete.

I've already learned my lesson with the vanilla Saints Row The Third, and later buying it again as a "The Third Franchise Pack" to get all the DLC by the time (it was cheaper that way). And later it was replaced with the "Full Package" Edition... (>_<), so I had to buy another DLCs I wanted not included in the "Franchise Pack" edition. Not making the same mistake again... I hope (:P)

I loved THQ for their games, but hated their DLC practices.

Grab the game + season pass over at the humble bundle store, game is 75% off and season pass is 66% off. But if you really need 100 weapon skins, clothes, and vehicles then wait.

That's gonna be a Saint's Row 4 Game Of The Century Edition with all the DLC's ( except the cheat ones ). Saint's Row 3: The Full Package does not have the cheat DLC's included, either ( Bloodsucker and the Unlockable DLC's )

That probably depends on what you expect from the game. If you expect it to be like SR2 or even SR3, you're not going to have fun.
