Your description isn't that clear, because your wrote "prefferable until the deadline" - so you would have needed another fix deadline? Ehm ...

First of all, thanks for this. Either way, even with a phrasing I understood right at the first time wouldn't have changed much in my situation. But maybe for the next time?
I'm sorry, I'm sometimes a bit picky with such stuff. ^^
But I don't mean it in a bad way. But if something isn't (for some people) 100% clear, there is always the option to ask. I guess it is better to end the (friendly! ;-) ) discussion about it. Language is kinda complicated and to be almost 100% clear you would have to write often much more even for simple stuff.
