Hello!
Sometime during the last few weeks, you made a purchase using G2A PAY. During checkout, you signed up for a free 30-day trial of G2A Shield by leaving the Shield checkbox active. Since the box was accidentally marked active by default, we have deactivated your subscription. You do not need to do anything else regarding this issue. If you ever want to activate G2A Shield again, you may do so and can still use the free 30-day trial. If you want more information about Shield, click here.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. As a token of thanks, we want to give you a surprise game for free - no strings attached. Activate it on Steam and enjoy.

and my free game is Lords of the Fallen

so check your inbox maybe you also have some surprise :))

IG signed up with G2A to use G2Pay as a payment processor. G2A fucked them over by sneakily enabling their additional paid Shield subscription for anyone who used it. Fallout ensued, IG had to severe all times immediately, but by then their reputation already took a hit.

They are an offshore company hiding behind an offshore company. Despite us knowing who the owners are, they can do a lot of shady shit in the open because of that.
But at least they were dumb enough to show how much they really want to be acknowledged as a legit company. That AMA fuckup on Reddit and now this… I doubt having a contract with the Superhot devs will be able to counter all these. (Heck, it may tarnish that game's otherwise nice fame instead.)

That'd be a first for them. I guess they finally fucked over enough users at once that they had to pretend to care.

Yep. This was loud enough to be heard. Funny enough, not even the usual G2A fanboy crowd put too much effort into defending this one.

This. G2A doing good deed out of courtesy is as rare as seeing Unicorns. Even though I contacted IG about their collaboration with G2A Pay, they send generic copy-paste emails saying "it is safe". Only time will tell how it goes but to be safe PayPal, even RazorPay are far better options compared.

I have nothing in my inbox. Btw their 3-day window for subscription cancel at the end of the month is scam.

It's good that IG is trying to make good on their screw-up.
Not sure why they thought it'd be a good idea to use G2Pay in the first place, though ...

The email is actually from G2A's Pay team; it makes no mention of IndieGala.
