I still believe that steamgifts.com has some sort of karma system, where you will receive the same number of games you gifted and should gift if the reverse happens. Works for me, though I have to gift something soon, since something might happen to me due to BAD MOJO.

Ok, seriously, we're not here to win the biggest collection, we're here to share. It's nice to get something now and again that you don't have, and even nicer to give to those that need. Still, I do wonder sometimes about the percentages. Someone above pointed out how he's had 39 wins from his just-over-2000 entries, and he made that sound typical. That's one win out of every fifty entries, just amazing luck. From what I've seen, the typical percentages are more like one or two wins out of a thousand entries. Only thing I can think of, beyond sheer dumb luck, would be group giveaways. Get in the right group and your chances skyrocket. :)

I won like 5 games before i won something, even now i won 14 games and gaveaway 12 games.

You need to contribute more. Karma works in mysterious ways sometimes. The more gifts I get, the luckier you become. It's not so hard to understand. Your luck increases slightly with every giveaway made so all you have to do is give thousands of games and you will start to get a good return on your investment. So have a look at my wishlist and start giving, and you will get all the games you want in no time.
