Not to sound like a smart ass but this is actual Folk music, what you posted are more pop and rock songs. The whole movie is based on Dave Van Ronk, who was kind of Bob Dylan's precursor and one of the people who started the Folk music revival in the 60s. I highly recommend the movie btw, it's my favorite Coen Brothers movie
