The Deer God has definitely been free before. I got it from some Gleam.io giveaway and it can't be given away on SG.
I guess you probably think I'm thinking about The Deer, which has also been free. It's confusing, I know, but they've both been free.

Yep, The Deer God giveaway was for 20,000 keys back in October 2015.
And for the first time, I notice that a free giveaway is referenced on ITAD:

It could have been less, but that was what was indicated by the Gleam.io giveaway title. They could lie and say that they have more keys than they actually do. We have no way to verify those claims on any digital game giveaway. The creator just says "We've got XXXXXX keys!", and all we can do is believe them. It's not like formal contests that are audited and subject to consumer protection laws.

They're both meh games that have been free in the past. I'm not really sure how this creates a problem.
Plus, no one thinks this is The Deer...people who aren't reading the thread are just insisting The Deer God was never given away for free for some reason.
