Planetside 2 I suppose? I know it's sci-fi but it has bullet drop, recoil and all that whatnot. And it's quite different from most other FPSs(Not match by match but more like an open world) so might be interesting

Oldie, but goodie: Hidden and Dangerous 2. It's like Rainbow Six in a WWII environment.

Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm. In the realism mode you don't even have a HUD, if I remember correctly. You have to look inside the magazine to know how much ammo you have left and you can enable manual reload for bolt action rifles.

Loadout is F2P and it's a TPS...

If you want to try something new might I suggest Intruder a new still in development fps.

Think Counter Strike but with more emphasis on the stealth tactical side of things.

It has some fun features that make the fps genre a bit more tactical than your average cod and etc runandgun shootemup playstyles.

No One Lives Forever series. This is probably not what you're looking for, but I'm still suggesting it anyway.

Metro 2033 series? They are realistic in terms of mechanics and gameplay and they are FPS's... but yeah, they are placed in a post-apocalipse Moscow metro station so yeah... Can't really think of any FPS with truly real-life gameplay though.

You want kind of realistic, huh?! Operation Flashpoint, ArmA series.

Best FPS games I've played(in no particular order): Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Half Life 2, F.E.A.R, Bioshock and Infinite, Metro Last Light, S.T.A.L.K.E.R - Shadow of Chernobyl. Some honorable mentions: Unreal 2 The Awakening, Far Cry 1 and 3, Crysis, Singularity, Bulletstorm, Borderlands 1 and 2, Metro 2033, Half Life, Area 51, Star Wars Republic Commando(all of them are good in their own right, but they can't compare to the perfection of the games I've listed first). As for Halo and Call of Duty, they are the most annoyingly overrated franchises EVER. And while Halo is slightly above mediocrity, Call of Duty, starting with Modern Warfare 2 has come to represent everything wrong with the game industry today. Truly examples of horrid and idiotic games made for filthy cretins. In the TPS realm my experience is much more limited, but the two games I hold dearest to my heart and I think are light-years better than the overrated pieces of shit that are Gears of War and Killzone(or any garbage made from Tom Clancy's novels) are Max Payne 2 and Spec Ops The Line. Both are masterpieces, each in their own way(especially story-wise).

If you got a PS2 you can pick up Socom!

Max Payne 3. A wonderful game, really. And if you have a console, maybe you can play Red Dead Redemption, another excelent good game.

Well, Neotokyo just got released on Steam so there's that.
As others have said Max Payne 3 is enjoyable if your computer can run it. Mine wasn't.
CS:GO is good, as is the rest of the CS series if you're into it.
If you liked COD you'll probably like Battlefield, but keep in mind it's not necessarily more realistic.
If you want realism like ARMA you could probably go for Red Orchestra, it's fairly realistic, although not to the same level.
There's also the Metro and STALKER series, so you could give those a try.

Battlefield games, if you're in that kind of stuff.
Far Cry 3 is pretty good.
Max Payne games are not bad.
Crysis games are decent, if you can run it on your system.
Half-Life 2 is a nice enough game, but not exactly realistic.
Metro 2033, Metro: Last Light are very nice.
F.E.A.R. games are great, but mostly the first one.

I think that's about it. Oh, and Battlefield 1942 is free on Origin.
