For me was the 2004+ mark, when 3d games started to looking good, from graphics to animation, example: UT2004, Half-Life 2.
I can still play games from 2004 without problems, before 2003 the games somehow turn me off. Also i hate Nintendo 64 (3d) style graphics, i prefer 2d for oldies.

Some games aged well but its rare for me to enjoy them after i played some masterpieces: Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider 2013, etc.

Also to note, 2011 was one of the best years for gaming, steam was in the best suit and games had something to offer.

2015 is the year of the glorius pc gaming master race , cuz even from 2014 there are lot concole games ported to PC. and also this year there a lot incoming amazing games to PC. may our framerate be high and our temperature low

1995-2000 games went from 2D to 3D,playstation1 was the top console ever,final fantasy 7,8 and 9 were released those years(the best of the series) and of cource i was at age to have many free hours to play video games and i enjoyed playing them more,now i get bored after some time and i need a break
