Only music I'd listen to is the Bastion OST and Transistor OST. Probably Dear Esther, Alice Madness Returns and the ending song of Mirror's Edge but it's not enough to justify the service for me.

Frankly i don't see the point of using this until they add last.fm support

No point for this, there are enough music players that do it better, and you can download the game soundtracks anyways and use them on whatever you were using before.

It seems OK to me, but nothing really special. You can customize which directories Steam looks in to find your music, so you should be able to get your whole library to be recognized. However, I don't think it's intended to replace whatever music player you normally use. My impression was that Steam added this feature as a way of letting you more easily play your own music while you play games. In that sense, it is kind of nice to be able to play music in Steam rather than having to open another program. I'm not sure I'll use Steam Music much, but I don't think it hurts anything to have the feature available.

has anyone tried it yet ? as for now I just have some Overlord, counter-strike and half-life musics in that stuff, yet I own some "soundtrack included" game editions like the collector of Strike Suit Zero, but it's not there. just overlord, cs and hl.
it's been a while peeps wanted valve to do something for music and it's quite deceiving as it is right now
