I have Knytt Desura keys from both Indie Gala Flashpoint and indiebundle.org - Deadly Dungeons Bundle Plus.
I activated the indiebundle one on Desura, but I can't activate either key in Steam (as expected). When checking keys on Desura it doesn't show a separate Steam key :(
Guess I'll contact Indiebundle.

I got my IndieRoyale key plus the one from Desura (they were different) now I'm just waiting for IndieGala to add keys.

Earth 2150 trilogy is on steam now, might be able to get keys for it if you contact topware with your purchase info (it was in the groupees topware bundle, and be Mine 5), also might be added later but i'm skeptical considering the other stuff that hasn't given keys.
also some news on dracula love kills from groupees sherlock bundle seems relatively good, but only time will tell, not sure what their email is or what to send them but if someone figures it out let me know XD.

Found the E-mail for requesting keys from frogwares for dracula love kills. If anyone wants to try, let me know how it turns out, i'm too lazy right now to give it a shot.

I've sent them an email, but they're just going to look at them on Monday. My guess is they will face a deluge of requests and provide keys to Groupees directly instead.

I got my Dracula: Love Kills key from Frogwares. Just forward them a copy of your purchase statement, and ask for the key.

I asked Topware about Steam keys for two games from Groupees (Earth 2150 Trilogy and Knights & Merchants) and they responded that Groupees will deliver keys to my bundle page in the next few days. They said they have some delay but that it will happen.
I also asked them about key for Jack Orlando but they didn't mention it in their reply. I send them another e-mail asking about it.
And Frogwares still haven't replied to me regarding Dracula: Love Kills key. I hope they'll give me one cause I would love to play it.
Of course I attachted proof of purchase to every mail.
Edit: I got Jack Orlando and Dracula: Love Kills keys :)

I know but the Steam version has achievements so if the game's on Steam I'd rather play Steam version.

I got Dracula key today as well (mail sent 2 days ago).
Also, after two weeks of waiting for any reply from TopWare about Knightshift and K&M Steam keys I sent them another ticket today and got my keys within 2 hrs.
On the other hand, I think Groupees totally fucked up the case. They still say that didn't received some keys form TopWare yet, but it's hard to believe it.
Comment has been collapsed.
I think it might be true, Steam probably limits how many keys they'll generate for you per day.
To cover all the bundles they would need to process it over several days, they could do them in batches, but that usually causes more emails then it prevents
Comment has been collapsed.
Steam says "You will get as many keys for your game, as you want with no charge", There's nothing about some daily limits. TopWare gave lots of keys. Do you really think it's so hard to reserve 3,2k codes for Groupees? Besides, TW 3 weeks ago said they made a deal with Groupees. Even with limit of, let's say 150 codes per day you can reach this amount and it seems Groupees haven't sent any keys from TW bundle yet.

Got my Dracula key from Frogware today. Had sent them an email on friday.
Also got a similar answer from Topware:
Hello,
You´ll find your keys in your Groupees account within the next day. Groupees has a delay with importing the keys.
We are very sorry for that.

it seems a odd coincidence that they are supposed to show up a day after knights and merchants shows up in a BundleStars bundle...

I got Jack Orlando and Dracula: Love Kills keys! :)

Yeah a bunch, its usually because the game has changed significantly since the bundled version. The other common case was that the game was given away as a bonus for free (and the devs saw no money).
Its one thing to promise steam keys and go back on the promise, but I don't think every developer should be obligated to give steam keys.
At the same time I know I would be highly unlikely to buy the game again.
Comment has been collapsed.
tbh none yet without a legit reason, Devs who try to get away gives bullshit reasoning but cave in after a few days due to bad PR.
Larry incident was a legit reason since the one featured in groupees was the old one. Legend of dungeons was also legit reason since they specifically released a special demo which is longer than the normal one. Also Legend of dungeons was not payed as part of the bundle since it was only a bonus.
Is there a game you referring to which is different to what I was thinking?

FWIW many months ago when Fester Mudd appeared on Desura (after the Groupees bundle had already eneded) people asked about Desura keys. The developer said it would have to go through Groupees since they had the financial info to verify ownership, however it doesn't appear that they ever contacted Groupees or attempted to give them Desura keys as far as I can tell.

No update was ever posted in spite of two people directly asking about it several months apart.

No reason to be really disappointed though, as it was logical they wouldn't give Steam Keys for the new-version-still-in-development-that-was-funded-with-a-Kickstarter.
Comment has been collapsed.
Er, they gave you a DRM free version of the two decades old version, not the new one.
Comment has been collapsed.
"Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of The Lounge Lizards - 1991 VGA Remake" - See the word 'Remake' at the end? They gave a DRM free copy of the remade version, not the old one. I actually wrote an email to them a few months ago asking about:
"“Vote for the games on Steams Greenlight, and when the game get’s greenlit you will get a free Steam key.(All except the Indie Spotlight: Driftmoon”."
And they replied with:
I'm really sorry but that was in reference to all of the featured games and Leisure Suit Larry was as added bonus. We don't have and won't be getting keys for that game.
Comment has been collapsed.
See the number 1991 in there? That's the year when that remake was made. It was an updated version of the 1987 original with VGA graphics.
The one that got released on Steam is "Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded" and is not at all the same one that got released 22 years ago and that we got for free as a bonus.
Comment has been collapsed.
As Zomby2D says, if you had done your research you would have seen that this is a remake of the older game, and the new one is a "Reloaded" version of those games.
They messed up with the banner, that is true, but nowhere else.
Comment has been collapsed.
JULIA also fits in that the bundled version is significantly different than the extended version released on steam which was put on kickstarter for full price.
Comment has been collapsed.
well Akaneiro Demon Hunters didn't give anything either, despite its presence in that bundle, and Leisure Suit Larry, while not being the same game, mislead quite a few people because the greenlight banner on it went to the remake.
The game does have a greenlight banner on it with "receive a steam key when this is greenlit" unlike akaneiro or Liesure Suit, so I am inclined to believe that they will. Groupees little note about Driftmoon ehh, wasn't very accurate to say the least.
Comment has been collapsed.
oh yeah I know, it's just that they gave beta invites to bundle buyers, and when it first showed up on steam a lot of people assumed they would get an early access key since (since at that point you had to pay to play the beta + get some extra freebies)
the disclaimer on the bottom of the Groupees page which Fumbles mentioned didn't say anything about not getting one for Akaneiro which is all I was saying

I asked the developer on Twitter if Groupees buyers can get Steam keys. So far no response.

How to get Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller Steam key from Desura or some bundle?
Comment has been collapsed.
the respective bundle should have added the keys for them. I had a copy on Indie Game Stand, and got the key from my IGS game wallet (a little button called steam key)
If it was from IndieGala, same thing. Log into your indiegala account that has that bundle tied to it and there should be a place for the cognition steam key.
Other than that I am not sure, but it would be the same I am assuming.

For Groupees Be Mine X, both Last Knight and Finding Teddy state on the Groupees page: "Game has been Greenlit - Once the game is available on Steam, people who bought the game from the bundle will receive a Steam key!" :)
Finding Teddy has a Steam release date of Dec 7th.
Last Knight just states that "it will still take some time".

Does Gravi have Steam keys for the Bundlestars Pure Indie bundle yet? I don't have it or the other DRM free game that were added later, but was able to get download links sent to me over email with their Support. I saw this topic said they have keys, but their Support team say they are still waiting for them.

I never even got keys for Desura, was I supposed to? I bought the bundle before the games were added, they never showed up on my account, I sent an email complaining, they gave me some links to grab the DRM free copies.

Yeah, I've been trying hard to get that key. Finally, 20 hours ago: "Good News, Heard word from BundleStars, they are working on retro-assigning keys this week so we are hoping for end of this week delivery of Gravi keys to your BundleStar accounts."

Thanks for the response. Good to know we were actually waiting for them.

A few days ago I sent an e-mail to Greenlight Bundle through contact form (they didn't provide their e-mail address anywhere) asking about my Syder Arcade Steam key (they didn't send it to me) and still no response. Very unprofessional.
Edit: So they sent me a Steam key. I had to wait almost a week but it happened.

I checked it and nothing.
If they won't respond in two days I'll send another e-mail. And another. And another. Until I get a response or a key.
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't understand why they didn't put the keys on the page along with the email they sent. They did for other games.
Comment has been collapsed.
For the 1st greenlit game that was released they did so, the problem is they gave a key through the mail that was different from the profile one, thus they stopped added them to profiles, which should have been the reverse. It was Megabyte Punch I believe.
Comment has been collapsed.
They gave keys for Dawn of Fantasy and Omegalodon in the bundle page. Then came Megabyte Punch where they sent keys by email and added some to the bundle page too, but different ones. Then for Syder Arcade, they turn around and do the email-only thing.
If they can't put the same key in the bundle page and in an email, which is fairly easy, then they should just send you an email with a link to your bundle page like they did in the beginning.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh yeah, forgot Dawn of Fantasy and Omegalodon, sorry.
Yeah Greenlight Bundle's process is tedious, and their page is quite bad when you have to remember which image corresponds to whatever game there was in the bundle.
I would be completely logical to get the keys on the page too.

Anomaly: Korea was released on Steam. It was in one of the Humble Bundles. Do you think they'll provide Steam keys?
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, they've answered the question about weekly bundle, but I guess it reffers to the all previous bundles, not one in particular. If they won't provide keys for the bundle entirely dedicated to the devs, it's very unlikely they'll make an exception for "Android 7".
Comment has been collapsed.
It's not much of a source If you don't speak polish, but they've answered the question through the facebook page.
Q: Hey. I see you've released Anomaly: Korea and Anomaly: Warzone Earth Mobile Campaign on Steam. So there's a question. Will you provide steam keys for those, who bought this games in the Humble Weekly Sale: 11 bit studios?
11 bit: Hey. Unfortunately, we don't have such possibility.
Comment has been collapsed.
Anomaly Korea and Anomaly Warzone Earth Mobile Campaign have been released on Steam. While Korea was clearly in some humble bundles (wich later included PC versions as well), Mobile Campaign is something a little different. I'm pretty sure they'll handle keys for Korea at least, but I hope for both, we'll see.
Also, Fester Mudd devs said they're working on it
Comment has been collapsed.
Anomaly Korea was in both Humble Weekly Sale: 11 bit studios and Humble Bundle: PC and Android 7 while Mobile Campaign was only in the 11 but Weekly Sale. Korea was also in the Humble Mobile Bundle but that did not include a PC version, only Android binaries.
I've emailed the developers about it, let's see what they have to say. Even if they might have said on their Polish Facebook page that they don't intend to provide keys, I think that if enough people pester them about it they might eventually give them. :P
Comment has been collapsed.
Only for Android though... they didn't provide a PC/Mac/Linux binary for it in HBA3. We got Warzone Earth instead.

I got an email from the Rawbots team on Oct 15th updating their status. I would think by the sound of it you could probably move it to the "Released games that WILL (hopefully) give 'free' keys" section of the page.
Hey guys,
*Thanks very much for all the votes on Steam and making it possible for us to get greenlit. We are now working really hard to get the*game on to steam as soon as possible so that you all can get your steam keys. Our next feature coming out will be multiplayer battles!
Thanks,

via the most recent Wasteland 2 Kickstarter update email -- Wasteland 1 Steam key for Wasteland 2 and/or Torment backers
"All our backers – whether through Wasteland 2’s Kickstarter, as a late backer through Paypal, or if you got Wasteland 2 through your Torment pledge – will be getting a copy of Wasteland 1 for free. You will receive your key by logging into your account on the Ranger Center (or the equivalent Torment pledge management system). They will be available as soon as the game goes live on GOG.com and Steam, which could happen as early as Friday, and we'll email our backers then. Access will be limited to backers only initially. You will be able pick between getting either a Steam or GOG.com key, whichever is your preference."

Yay! Got mine too.
Also, reports of Intake keys available on Humble Weekly: Cipher Prime (Don't have that one myself)

It's more like they're saying that giving people who already paid for the game (many of them being very unlikely to pay for it again and even less likely to buy it as a gift because why would they) keys they can get from steam for free is going to give them negative income or something (seriously, how can you go bankrupt for giving people something they already paid for because this game is far from new and it was supposedly done when it came out before steam release; is steam release so expensive or do the they need to pay for achievments/trading cards?)
Comment has been collapsed.
Well first of all; how many people actually bought the game before Steam release? That number will most def not be in the 1000's, most people i know got it from the IG Store and that version is outdated compared to the Steam version.
I understand being an PnC Adventure game studio is not the most profitable line of work, those games are pretty much a niche nowadays, but because of that you need to be extra careful with your existing costumers.
This new Humble weekly will probably reel in a few costumers and when they read stuff like that i's not good for their PR

I sent an e-mail to Gala Store a few days ago asking about this. Here's what they replied:
"Hello,
No, we're sorry but we are not able to provide Steam keys for this game, for clients that already purchased and we never promised that. Also we did not have an agreement like this with the publisher either unfortunatelly.
Thank you."
Comment has been collapsed.
Same with me. But it's really easy, ask Gala Store how many keys they need, get them free from Steam and send. Gala Store can check user's accounts themselves. There's no hard work, no 'checking everybody's bill' etc. Indie devs do this without problems, so what's the matter with Daedelic?

LAST UPDATE: 27/08/14
FiftyDkpMinus created a Steam Group in wich the purpose of this thread will continue, please join! I'm also an admin of it :P
UPDATE: 18/08/14
So, I have to apologize to everyone for not being active in this thread anymore. I kept postponing because I was busy, and the games' list was growing and growing, as the comments in this thread. When the whole thing started, more than an year ago games were not greenlit so frequently.
I tought I could catch up, my original idea was to make a v2.0 of this thread.
This community is really great and I was happy to do something for it, but now I must face that I started too many projects in my life and I just can't keep this one going for now.
I think that the best thing is to pass this thread to someone else, like a group of people who can update a google doc or something.
Thanks to all of you that made this thing possible, I couldn't have done it without you; to be honest, you did most of the work, I simply sorted all the infos you gave me.
I'm really sorry for this, but my life is kind of a mess already, and I'm sure someone else can do a better job at this than myself.
Hi all, many of us, like me, probably bought many bundles in which some games were not available on Steam at the time, but they were on Greenlight and so we bought them pre-emptively just to get a 'free' Steam key later.
Recently a lot of Greenlight games came out on Steam, so my question is: which games are you waiting to get a key for?
Since I've been suggested to make a kind of database, I ask to help me to build it saying which games you got where.
Italic text means that keys are not available yet.
Released games that give or will give 'free' keys:
Greenlit or released/comingsoon games that were in a bundle or could be bought elsewhere and may give keys:
