question about non steam gmaes

so i saw that if i have a non steam games on my library and i come to the site and sync my account i will not see my non steam games on this site.

but why?

did you don't think that if someone have a game but the game is a non steam game and he want to win the game again he will come here and try to win it again, and what we get from that?
that the player have game that he have 2 copies of it because one he win it and one he buy it.

so i think that if we will sync are accounts we need to see are steam games and are non steam games.

what did you think?

Steam doesn't list non-steam games online for other people/sites to see, just a shortcut for the Steam user.

Not possible. Non-Steam games are stored only on your client, not server.

It's not really possible to sync non-steam games. Did you ever hit up your SteamCommunity profile and clcik the "Games" link?

but listen i have BF:BC2 as non steam game and is the full version and i bought it in some store, and if i right steam have BF:BC2 as steam game but in my library is as non steam game.

The sync only recognizes STEAM games that are tied to your account, no other games, whether you have them as non steam games or not.

The OP is asking (in very broken English) whether there is a way (and if not he thinks there should be) to stop people entering for a non-Steam game they already own. I.E. kissmyass could enter a BF:BC2 giveaway on here and win a Steam copy then gift it to someone else (yes I know it's risking their SGifts account by not activating it, which would show up in the next SGifts sync they do afaik) but in theory kissmyass could enter to win BF:BC2.

To the OP: Yes there is a way to discourage people from winning a game they already own as off-steam by simply thratening with the ban-hammer and if they do win, banning them.

Non steam games are just shortcuts. They could be shortcuts to anywhere or anything. How is steam gifts (or even steam) supposed to register and record which non steam games you have? Steam content is unique to steam and so it won't be able to recognise registries from non steam content because there's just so many variables to consider.
