I've played all Silent Hill games as they came out except Downpour; Silent Hill 2 is an absolute masterpiece in storytelling and way back then, the graphics were alright. Besides, I don't really care about graphics all that much and the monsters all tie to the main character's crumbling psyche anyway.

it's the most complete one for me considering how much i had to do in the game. exploration, crafting levelling up, doing side-quest, finding companions, setting up settlements and finding collectibles. i spent 400hr and didn't even play the dlc.

Yeah, I still don't get that. But in this case I know it's due to me.
Anyways, I'm happy to see you enjoy it. Even though I find it to be a disgrace to Fallout games, it doesn't mean that it didn't have its merits. It's great that people are having fun with it :)

great pick, i would suggest everyone to try Dank Souls, at least make it to the second boss, its the most rewarding game i have ever played.
