Fake Rep!!!?!?! Why?!

Why do people feel the need to get their friends to fake REP you?!
I'm not speaking about JUST me, but for others who have experienced this too.. I feel sorry for you guys. I've got 3 minus rep due to one awful trader. Meh, my REP on steamgifts.com is COMPLETELY ruined due to this.. But I guess it's my fault for trading with the wrong people..

Do any of you guys have any past experience with something like this? How do you get this reported/stopped? How do I make people trust me agian? :/

I've tried that.. Reported the guy I actually traded with, nothing happened. He got two friends within a few days to -rep me and it's getting out of hand I guess.

Try report the other two, if they didn't trade with you, it's misuse of trade feedback.

Nope not yet.. But it's only been a few days. I guess they've got a lot more complaints to deal with first :]

Yes, just report them as the others have said, then be patient.
Support will look into it and get back to you, and you will get your trade feedback fixed.

They, on the other hand, will probably serve a suspension for Misuse of Trade Feedback. ;)

Because of the amount of times I've sent a ticket about "misuse of trade feedback", will they even believe me? Or will they think I'm lying to 'cover my ass', as they say?

Just make sure everything is explained in one ticket. You can close any others.

I've explained fully in one and the other two I've stated how they're obviously friends and they're mad at me for taking so long so... They've -rep me.

From my experiences with SG support, they know what they're doing and how to get to the truth of things pretty quickly.
It may take a while (I had one neg rep from some random user, and I don't even trade), but they will take care of it.

Just be as accurate and honest in your ticket as you can, and provide any proof you have to speed things along.

Yeah.. That's the downside. I have no proof of any of this ><... I just hope they believe me and get this whole mess sorted out.

If you paid him with paypal, you should at least have a proof that you did pay him for the trade.

Don't trade using your mom's paypal and having it delayed on your side. You should be able to bring what you offer on the table immediately.

Yeah, I agree with that. I'm 15 (almost 16) so I can't have my own paypal just yet. But, to prevent further complications, I'm gonna stop buying games via paypal and just sell/trade the ones I have.

I can but due to money difficulties I hardly ever have money, and when I do it's earned from chores (or birthday/christmas) which is already in my mums paypal anyway.... So :s

When I go to SIXTH FORM (year 12 / 12th grade) I'll get money from school so I'm going to have my own paypal then.. Excited.
