Hi Guys,

what games are good that are under £10? As I would like to pick up some more and I'm poor (Also Christmas is coming up so wanna get games for friends. And possibly have a decent giveaway at christmas)

Any suggestions would be appreciated

How can it be free and <£10? But I do recommend Dishonored GOTY, when it's on sale.

Whoops! Been at work all day so the brain is fried... Fixed now. Thanks for pointing that out.

I got Dishonored already. Is the DLC worth it?

It's quite good, but I didn't have time to finish the DLC when I played it, and then I kinda forgot about it lol.

I might have to pick up the DLC on sale next time (hopefully in the winter sale)

you should also check the currently running bundles

Humble Bundle
Bundlestars
Indie Gala
et cetera

maybe wait for Black Friday deals on Steam/Amazon if you want to pick up games

Humble Bundle is like my second home <3

But I'll be sure to keep my eye on the others!

Indie Gala has had some really good deals recently. They just changed their UI though, and it's really buggy, so hopefully they get that fixed soon.

You should also check out Blink Bundle, Groupees, and Flying Bundle.

Well, Borderlands 2 Goty is a great game, the elder scrolls and the fallout series are great too.

Also, trade! It’s much cheaper then buying the games from the story page directly!

I've been too scared to get into the whole trading stuff tbh due to stuff I've heard.

Is it as bad as it sounds?

if you trade with gifts of games and tf2/dota 2 keys there 's no problem since you both trade at the same time and you cant get scammed

Just don't do anything outside the trade window and you'll be fine.

if you use steamtrades and you look for traders with lot of rep and also use common sense you should be safe ;)

if you're totally new to trading I suggest you stick to trades that are entirely done through the Steam trade window or trade offers, so both parties can see what's being exchanged (just note that there's no Steam Wallet money transfer, as some scammers would want to make you believe)

This.

I've been using steamtrades for a week or so and so far, all trades have been successful and most people I've encountered were real friendly. :)

My first steam gift/gift link kind of trade went on a little earlier today and I was a bit scared since I went first with my HB gift link, wondering if the guy would indeed gift me the game afterwards or just run away with my key (all +rep but very few, just like me)... Yeah, I did get the game and I'm happy about it. :)

Humble links most of the time I request they go first unless their rep is very good >+100, for paypal it's riskier, checked verified etc, then make sure their rep is also very good (you usually go first for paypal unless you have high rep but since you don't have you have to go first)

Also remember to check steamrep for every trader, and click search steamrep forums even for those with no special reputation (something I learned after getting scammed by guy with no alerts but profile looks good. had ~50 games, significant hours, items in inventory etc)

There are plenty of good games which cost less then 10£ when on sale (for example those days batman games are on sale on gamers gate, warhammer on green man gaming, plenty on gog if you don't mind not having it on steam, etc... might wish to check isthereanydeal.com). If those going now are not to your liking or the discount isn't high enough and you don't wish to wait, you can trade tf2/dota keys for gifts (check tf2outpost.com and similar, sometimes the prices are very good too). Since the trade happens within steam it's usually safe. Else you can use steamtrades to buy/trade keys, bundle links, etc... Of course use common sense: triple check what you are trading carefully when trading for gifts to make sure it's exactly what you wanted and it's not region locked. When trading for keys and sending first, make sure to check the other person's profile on steam, steamtrades, steamrep (better safe than sorry :P). To recommend specific games you should probably tell us what you are looing for.
(Hope it's fine to mention all those sites on the forums ^^).

You need to say what you like. I have been playing Risk of Rain recently and I love it. But you might not like it if you don't like pixel, retro, rogue games.
