Somehow the site thought there was -1 entry, which isn't possible in an unsigned integer so it wrapped around to the highest value, 2^32-1.

2 to the power of 32-1

I have absolutely no idea how he came up with those numbers. It's probably just a bad joke.

Because computer databases store numbers as powers of two, maybe? :<

Data types. 8-16-32-64 bits. Unsigned integers have this problem, when you try to represent a negative number, this bug happens.

2^32 - 1 is the biggest number you can represent in a binary 32-bit system.

It is also much bigger than 4.3 billion like the image suggests so I don't know why he thought it was relevant.

2^32 is pretty much exactly the number you see there, you can easily check it online: http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/math/Exponent_Calculator.htm

Major facepalm-ing right now.

I went to look at what 2^32 was, and typed in 2^64 for some reason. You are right.
