Have you tried Steam support or tried Googling the issue? http://lmgtfy.com/?q=%22failed+to+load+steamui.dll%22&l=1

Yes tried many of the googled recommendations. Nothing worked. Then made a new windows install and still not worked.
Did not yet call steamsupport because i read it takes weeks till they answer.

I had the same problem
restarting in safe mode, then deleting all steam files except app data and steam.exe worked out for me
After doing this it just updates and started working normally again.

You do realize people work for a living to provide support such as that? And you hand it out like it's candy on Halloween......
Which also falls back onto the Google results and a fix for it, as already stated......

Not candy rose it's valentine today
Also I didn't check google. He asked a question and I offered my suggestion.
Have you never asked a question before answer to which was available on the internet.

Never asked a teacher a question?(of course related to some subject)

No.. That neither or either. Never.

Have always regarded Teachers as just attendants to keep a classroom in check to maintain order, as students recite from a text book from what they learned from that.

Sometimes you just want the answer right now and can't afford to wait several weeks like with Steam support.

Another one of ya? Neat... Line up in a row for the firing squad.

Would make sense that there be an old account with a huge level and massive games to tie it all into.

There is no trust.. And it is nice that you responded. Makes sense.

In fact, I am to assume as I see it, that the person that started this thread *almost all the way down to you, are in fact the same person.. How does that tickle your fancy? Mate.

This is ridiculous. I installed XP and I get the same error as with Win 7.
I installed Lubuntu and Mint but could not get Steam to work.

Yea right. I simply lost faith in this thread being real. Maybe your account is fake and Steam knows it? Installed across multiple OS's, maybe it is your PC? Have you tried Steam support? No, you haven't, maybe because you heard it takes years for them to respond... Yea okay...

*edit this thread is dumb with multiple fictitious accounts. The End!
