Hey there :)
I finished my CELTA in September. CELTA is a teaching certificate which should allow me to travel some before I start studying.

Well, the hiring peaks are August and February I think. So I'm a little late. On online job boards there are only few opportunities for teachers WITHOUT bachelor.

So, my question is: if you know any school, somewhere in the world which is looking for an English (or German) language teacher, please tell me about them. Except Germany because I am German and want to see other parts of the world.
It would be most appreciated :)

The school may be anywhere in the world, I don't really care. Thanks :D

[Edit]: I guess I'll be spending the next two years in Vietnam ^^ Thanks for the support and bumps and such :)

Well, that's correct but I'd need higher qualification than most high school teachers do. additionally the salaries are lower. since I need something to live on voluntary work is not really an option :/
Check out the GA ;)

Best option is only coaching. Join an online academy

I go to english classes on the official school, and you need another paper for that, like a public worker certificate. So i have no idea, sorry :/

Well, since the other paper is obtainable, that should not be a problem.
Your profile suggests that you're from a Spanish-speaking country. Where do you live?

well, I'm a German, so I don't think there'd be any problems due to EU and stuff.
Do they need teachers there? Online it says that Spain is one of the biggest markets for English language teachers but I don't really trust websites that say: It's like this and that....

there is a HUGE... ENORMOUUUUSSSSS demand for english. Don't know about german. Sadly you should check for private places. Official school its only for public workers, government workers. In my school German is, probably the third language (french is the second most wanted). I can't provide you info about private schools :(

Don't know of any specific jobs but come to Australia. I'm not familiar with CELTA but you could probably get work as a teacher's aide. You could escape the northern winter too.

I don't know about demand in foreign English teacher but several major school in some capital cities in Thailand do have foreign English teacher. If you like Thailand you might want to consider it.

Note: Thailand's education is quite competitive compare to Western countries I think. There are many tutors here in Bangkok. Many university students work as tutors while studying. Not so sure about language tutor though.

Here's some sites that might be useful to you I found: Ajarn (Ajarn = teacher in Thai) Teaching Thailand

Hope these help. :3

So you do not have a bachelor right now?
And you want solid pay? So no voluntary work? Sounds kind of tough imo

Solid pay depends on the country you teach in ;)
I guess self-sustaining pay would be ok ^^

Well here in Finland, you HAVE to have a masters' degree to be a teacher.
Doesn't matter what kind of a school.
I dunno how it is with people from abroad, but I think you have about 0% chance of getting a job here, if you don't even have a bachelors'.
So you can scratch Finland off your list, sorry :D

Oh yeah and thanks for the gib! :P

Don't come in Italy because (even if we need way better english teachers) the demand now is subzero.
