Price jump on Steam

Their prices increased? :o Hasn't it always been 20/15?

Hm, I checked them (Germany). Oath in Felghana is at 15 € for me as it has been before (I think) and Origin is at 20 €. I think the last one has really jumped for 5 €.

It's 20 euro's. Has it always been that price?

According to IsThereAnyDeal both games have always had those price, unless you include the sales they've had.

Also a price jump just happened at PES 2014 even it is on discount at Steam atm...

Sudeki was US$5, but jumped up a dollar at some point. I noticed it myself because of how I ordered my wishlist, and reviews and old forum posts mention $5 as well, so it wasn't just a mistake in my ordering.

This is the bad side of publishers and developers being able to change their prices on a whim.

Interestingly, mis-representing the price of an item to give the impression of a larger discount is illegal in the UK.

Ys Origin has been $20 since 2012

Ys: The Oath in Felghana has been $15 since 2013

(barring sales prices)

Edit: Ah! The euro price has been matched to the dollar price. The dollar price has not increased.

Funny, I don't see the prices being any different than they were upon the game's release. Ys Origin was $19.99 since it's release on May 30th 2012 and Oath was $14.99 since it's release in March 2012. Outside of ales there have been no price changes up or down.

EU2 Always have the biggest rip-offs price-wise

Yeah it happen on Kingdoms of Amalur in Australia, they had a 70 percent off sale all over the world, but specifically in Australia the original price of $30 bucks (which it has been for over a year) increased to $60 bucks, and then got a 70 percent off sale to $18 dollars for just the typical normal version as opposed to like $9 dollars or something like that everywhere else.

To be fair though I just ended up buying the collection edition instead for like 4 keys anyway and still saved a butt load more money from a trader.

Krater went from 14 € to 15 €.
