I won a game earlier today and for some reason I did not check my entered list like I usually do to make sure that I was not entered into more draws for the same game.

Well murphys law kicked in and in fact I was entered into another draw for the same game and I won on that one as well.

How do I refuse the game so that they can reroll it for someone else.

Ask creator for reroll.

Btw, I like you, because you're not crafty and greedy like some other users, who are doing regifts.

Do u not get banned for regifting or do people just not notice it that it happens?

Oh yes, you can get ban for regifting. But people are doing this anyway. And it's annoying...

You don't automatically get banned. The website doesn't check on it's own. Someone has to report the rule breaker and then they will be suspended a certain number of days per infraction. If they continue breaking rules, they can be banned. This is why it is important to check your winners for unactivated wins before you send them the key. If they are a rule breaker, report them and request a new winner.

You can reply on the second win saying you already got the game elsewhere and ask the creator if they can request the re-roll. The creator will submit the ticket by themselves.

Add a creator of giveaway on steam and told him what happened, with your massage he/she can ask support for re-roll

If you have activated the other win already it is visible for support and they are able to just re-roll the giveaway, if the gifter asks for it.

However, the easiest method is just to write on the giveaway page of that second win that you have to reject the giveawaqy and that the gifter should file a ticket asking for a re-roll.
Keep the second giveaway unmarked. If the gifter doesn't ask for a re-roll within seven days, mark the giveaway as not received.

Post a comment in the giveaway (the one with the key that you didn't use), explaining the situation. Ask the GA creator to request for a re-roll.

It's a perfectly normal situation, just write about it on the GA page and ask the creator for the reroll.

yep, happened to me before, right now waiting for someone to resolve with support, because the reroll wouldn't be possbile since there are more gifts than winners in this small giveaway.

i'm actually created "5x" but yeah, same kinda notification to deal with. you get used to it though. xD
tends to happen to me alot xD though i don't blame the winners at all, its clearly an easy thing to have happen.

the funny thing is I won the same game from the same person, he actually made them at short intervals one from the other so I did not get the chance to unjoin :))

Let me guess, Anna's wrath? So many are being given away the entire steamgifts community can have a copy. But I am seeing a lot of people regifting.

Just don't mark recieved on the second one and ask for a reroll. Sync your steam acount after thst.

Frist of all you don't ask creator for reroll
You ask steamgift tech support and then you let creator know

its okay to request a reroll in the comment section of the giveaway itself to get the process started so the next winner has the remaining time left (typically 3-4days only at that point). but not to try and contact them thru steam really directly as some suggested, thats would make you appear pushy as if you were trying to receive it faster. but creators are certainly appreciative of being informed they need to send a ticket to support for a reroll due to prior win asap. ;)

Only the person who made a certain giveaway is able to submit a re-roll ticket for that specific giveaway. A winner just can't do that.

However, support will only grant a re-roll [in this case] if the gifter has the approval of the winner or when it is clear which one of the multiple wins can be re-rolled.

Maybe the way how support dealt with multiple wins was different, when you had your multiple win?

yeah, i think he's thinking of being the gifter and requesting a reroll you must wait 7days to allow the winner time to activate it. after that point then gifter can request a reroll with proof of attempts of contact and failure. but being the winner side you can request immediately inside comments especially. (tho i wouldnt try and contact thru steam unless it was a last resort)

I wasn't ref to steam I was ref to support where you make a ticket here on steamgifts.com and you drop a comments message in game that want to re-roll

but thats what sappyma and i are saying, if you go to try and make a ticket for a re-roll request, it will only allow you to make the ticket off one of your created giveaways, not a giveaway you have won. probably wasn't always like that though like sappy said also. idk how rerolls were managed prior to sgv2 release.

This was form SleepyCat (Moderator) and he said
Hello, shspvr
Thank you for letting us know. Please leave a comment on the giveaway page stating that you already won the game. Once the giveaway creator requests a new winner, we will regift the game to a different person.
They approve it right way with out waiting 3 to 5 day

that's a moderator telling you to do what we were just telling you to do. you can cut the asking permission from support to tell the giveaway creator out of it and save the moderators time though. their time is better spent handling the actual re-rolls rather then informing you how to perform a re-roll.

That possible but the point if the winner didn't approval of it and did know about the gifter want head re-roll ticket and all ready giveaway the game with you know it and let person know the reason it petty cold.
It should the winner asking for a re-roll ticket after all he or she all ready multiple wons along with gifter.
Here lately a lot of gifter are goof off and wait for 5/6 day after it all ended to sent the gift

Good to see someone asking questions before doing a possibly bad decision, but your original idea to refuse it was acutally good! Made my day a little happier :)
