Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition

You'll get a store voucher for $15 with your purchase. This should be a decent deal for a group buy

Notable candidates for the voucher:

Razer Game Store discount vouchers have a 30-day expiration term and must be utilised within this period as at issuance date. Any request to reinstate expired vouchers will not be entertained.

Razer Game Store vouchers require a $30 minimum spend with at least one game priced at $15 minimum before the discount code can be applied.

Not quite, as restrictions apply, but it's a very good deal if your intention is to buy something else anyway

tbh it's more the fault of Techland. They censored themself... I'm pretty sure if they would try, it would only get an 18+ rating and not get banned.

The last Doom, Bulletstorm and so on for example is uncut buyable in germany and it's way more bloody than Dying Light.
It changed a lot in the last 10 years and if a game don't have any swastika in it, it can simply get a release in germany.

I was not trying to blame anyone but since you brought it up. Do you think it's the fault of Techland that Germans have it rough when it comes to gaming?

I don't think we have it "rough". I don't remember any game in the last 5 years that got official banned in germany.

It's Techlands fault, that this game is not buyable in germany. Yes. This game is not banned or anything. They could let it test by the usk and I'm sure it would get an 18+ rating and could be sold without any problems.

It's Bethesdas fault, that we can not easily activate an uncut wolfenstein in germany (they don't have to add the region lock by law).
It get's even better: the uncut Wolfenstein is not forbidden in germany. And if you look the theme up a bit, a games with a swastika in is not directly illegal. And if a publisher like Bethesda would take the risk (including a lawsuit) they would prob. win. But a lawsuit takes time and at the end of the lawsuit nobody would care about the game anymore.

I see that you member of for uncut. You can read alot about it. The censorship we see in germany was a thing 10 years ago but it changed a lot (like you see in the uncut doom 2016).

It's nice that you have a positive attitude but I can't really see how it matters if a game is officially banned or not when in practice the consumers are still suffering the consequences from weirdly restrictive laws and regulations.

name the laws and regulations

Are you serious? Why would I do that? It's blatantly obvious that Germany is being treated differently because of its laws and regulations. You're not trying to say that it's a freak coincidence that so many games are unavailable in Germany are you?

I am german. I live here. i play and buy games.
There is a lot wrong in this country but: name 2 games beside Wolfenstein (what is available but without swastikas) released in the last 3 years that are unavailable because they got banned....

I don't understand why you insist on trying to make me perform pointless tasks. If you don't think you have it rough when it comes to gaming that's perfectly fine with me and I'm not going to invest any time in convincing you of the opposite.

You do realize that we're talking about a value judgment here, right? That is, there is no right or wrong.

You don't get the point. there is no roughness in gaming in Germany anymore.
Games don't get banned or censored like it was 10 or 5 years ago. And they could release dying light without any problems.
Right now the bigger problem is in Australia.

You know what's really rough? Being an Austrian and getting grouped up with Germans just because it's easier for them.

I'm seriously considering Project Cars 2 even though I'd like to get it on XBL for the added convenience. Man, I wish everyone would just participate in Microsofts Play Anywhere program, or something similar.

answering myself :

  • coupon is not sent immediately but under 48h
  • usable for next 30 days for order of 30€+, containing at least one game costing 15€+

So, you can purchase a Dying Light, and then, when you get the coupon, purchase another Dying light + other game. It is?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It is equivalent at best as a purchase of 45€ worth of games for 30€.

We can't add Dying light twice in cart. (but like any games in store after verification)
So we can't buy Dying light once, then buy it twice with the coupon in same second order.

Now for buying Dying light twice in separated orders as you are asking, this needs to be confirmed. But I haven't further restriction about profiting multiple times of weekly discount offers.
I would say yes. But asking support would be a better bet for confirmation.
