But why are you trying to contact him? If this gift is in your inventory then just click "send as a gift" and then click "send on e-mail". Then enter his e-mail address and that's it.

So, I have a really nice question. Yesterday I made a giveaway, but one of the winners was not online the whole day, so I could not contact him... Now it says on Steam that he has been online before 10 minutes, but I still could not catch him to tell him about the giveaway, and the problem comes when I realized that I am going on a vacation today for 6 days, which means that I will not be able to fulfill the 7 days time to give the gift to the winner... What can I do?
EDIT: Just posted a ticket for this problem, but still any ideas would be accepted
